 TRACKDAY SERVICES

PROFESSIONAL TUITION

Whether you’re a novice wanting to start off on the right footing and increase your confidence on the track, or more experienced and want to learn the art of “getting your knee down”, some professional and friendly tuition is the way to go.

Our team of qualified ACU instructors are completely free for all riders and will be available to help you get the most out of your trackday experience at each Classic Bike Trackday event. Tuition will help identify areas where you can improve your riding, including your body position on the bike, braking points, lines through the corners, entry and exit speed.

Novices will receive priority early in the day as part of their booking, whilst the more experienced riders are welcome to have tuition throughout the day once we've taken care of our newcomers - simply ask a member of CBT staff or one of our instructors directly.

In addition to the tuition on track, all our instructors will be happy to answer questions during the day and our chief instructor will give a riding skills seminar in the paddock during the lunch break which is free for everyone to attend.

HELMET CITY

Helmet City has been specialising in the supply of helmets, clothing and accessories for over 10 years, and will be attending various CBT events throughout 2019 as our safety partner, advising on helmet tech, fit and general advice.

At the first CBT event of 2019 at Castle Combe there will be a presence from their Chichester branch (West Sussex), where Helmet City will have a selection of helmets available to purchase on the day.

They will also be giving a safety talk during the lunchbreak on their stand In the paddock which will include; proper helmet fit, age / deterioration of helmets & when to change them, pros & cons of fibreglass & polycarbonate helmets etc.

ONSITE MECHANIC

A number of you will already know Griff from Aprilia Performance – hugely knowledgeable and already a legend with the spanners, he will either be in the organisers garage or somewhere prominent in the paddock gassing or tinkering with bikes, and will always do everything in his power to keep your classic on track. If he can’t be found in his ‘garage’ he’s probably walking around the paddock asking if anyone needs a hand!

CLASSIC FUEL SOLUTIONS

Classic Fuel Solutions will be attending all Classic Bike Trackdays events with pre-packaged 25L Formula 105 high octane, ETHANOL free, race fuel - providing your cherished classic motorcycle with the fuel it was originally designed for!

This fuel isformulated unleaded petrol containing recognised additives that both protect the valve seats and increase the octane number to a level exceeding that of regular unleaded fuel, and can be added directly to any make or model of classic motorbike that was originally designed to run on leaded fuel.

Importantly, and almost uniquely, the fuel does not contain ethanol which readily picks up water from the atmosphere and the fuel supply chain resulting in an acidic product that can cause corrosion of metallic components and can adversely react with incompatible plastics, rubbers and fibreglass.

CBT riders can also benefit from a 5% discount on all orders which will be delivered to the trackday for you to collect on the day.
